GA Driver’s License
The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) can be overwhelming, but luckily you can make appointments and fill out forms online. You must get your driver’s license as soon as possible. You must bring your license from your home Country and present it. You do NOT have to surrender license from your Home Country.
First, study to that the knowledge test and learn the rules of the road.
- Read the Georgia drivers manual http://www.eregulations.com/georgia/driver/
- Take a practice test https://online.dds.ga.gov/ddsgeorgiagov/practicetest/index.aspx
There are other practice tests online, take a few and once you’ve passed a few times go online and book a test. You should be able to make an appointment for the knowledge and road test.
There is an online form to fill out that will help you know exactly what to bring. Please fill this out carefully.
